Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • possess or able to obtain valid servers permit
  • availability to work part-time during seasonal period April through September
  • ability to communicate well with guests and team members
  • maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
  • comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • reliable transportation if required
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Possess or able to obtain valid servers permit
  • demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • have basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess customer service experience
  • display flexibility and patience when dealing with guests
  • show ability to work well within a team

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
  • delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and flexibility with guests and staff
  • collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal information
  • addresses complaints and relays information to supervisor
  • ensures service area is set up and clean
  • operates various equipment
  • collaborates with other departments during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
