Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- capable of delivering excellent customer service
- able to follow established food and beverage service procedures
- must maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- capable of handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems
- able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- willing to undergo training related to food safety and service excellence
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food and beverage service or customer service advantageous but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards beneficial
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- understanding of specialized dietary needs and allergens is a plus
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate special dietary requests
- communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or medical information shared
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining room before and after service, maintaining sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
