Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior food service or serving experience preferred
ability to work flexible hours including weekends
ability to stand for extended periods
good communication skills
ability to follow established procedures
ability to handle cash responsibly
ability to maintain a professional appearance
legal authorization to work in the United States

prior customer service or serving experience preferred
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
knowledge of menu items and ingredients
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
adaptability and patience in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences and specialized dietary needs
communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special accommodations
exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisors
ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service and complies with sanitation standards
operate various dining room equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
collaborate with staff from other departments to support special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
