Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverages orders efficiently following established service steps
  • delivers food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation
  • follows up periodically to assist with guests' additional needs or requests
  • advises guests on menu items including dietary needs and allergens
  • communicates with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodates special requests
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • promptly addresses guest complaints or issues and communicates them to supervisors
  • sets up and cleans the dining area before and after service periods
  • operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers, soda machines, and coffee makers
  • collaborates with other departments during special events and functions
  • performs other duties as assigned
