Job Requirements

  • Sever experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time with rotating schedule including weekdays and some weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
  • Ability to handle cash and operate dining room equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior server experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends
  • Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Assist guests with additional needs or requests as needed
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
  • Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods and maintain cleanliness
  • Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
