Job Requirements
- Sever experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time with rotating schedule including weekdays and some weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to handle cash and operate dining room equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior server experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends
- Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist guests with additional needs or requests as needed
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods and maintain cleanliness
- Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
