Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior catering experience preferred
ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including some weekends and evenings
strong communication skills
ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
customer service oriented
ability to follow established food safety guidelines
willingness to abide by company policies including safety protocols and proper use of protective equipment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior catering or food service experience preferred
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
strong customer service orientation
basic understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions
ability to operate food service equipment
teamwork and flexibility

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
demonstrate understanding of menu items and advise guests on food and drink combinations
accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery
exhibit excellent communication skills and positive interactions with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
address guest complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
set up and clear dining room before and after service periods
operate equipment such as iced tea machines, coffee machines, telephones, and fire extinguishers
collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
