- previous food service experience preferred
- ability to perform duties during scheduled hours including evenings
- basic math and communication skills
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- must comply with food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations and accommodating dietary requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisors
- ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining room before and after service
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
