Located at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA, Morrison Living is currently hiring full-time and part-time Waiter/Waitress positions. The roles come with competitive fixed pay at $15.00 per hour. Available shifts include morning, midday, and afternoon timings between 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, with specifics provided during the interview process. As a Waiter/Waitress at Morrison Living, you will be an integral part of the culinary team that serves as the core of the business. You will contribute significantly by taking food and beverage orders and delivering them efficiently to guests in the dining room. Your role will involve engaging with guests warmly and professionally, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and seamless. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up with guests periodically to assist with additional needs
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
  • communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests accommodation
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
