The current job opening is for the position of Waiter/Waitress at BHI The Barrington of Carmel, located at 1335 South Guilford Road, Carmel, IN 46032. This role is available in both full-time and part-time schedules, with hours and days that may vary, allowing flexibility to accommodate different availability. Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
- ensure proper dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- operate dining room equipment safely
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
