Job Requirements

Prior food safety, food prep, and sanitation experience in a high volume environment preferred
ability to work full time or part time with flexible availability
ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
capacity to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
adherence to cash handling procedures
ability to follow company policies and safety standards
willingness to perform duties with a positive attitude and professionalism

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
knowledge of food safety, food prep, and sanitation in high volume environments preferred
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible shifts including mornings and evenings
ability to follow established service procedures
ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation
follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs
demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients advising guests when requested
communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and meets sanitation standards
operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines
assist staff of other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
