Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous serving experience preferred
- must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- strong communication skills
- adherence to company policies including safety protocols
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic math skills for cash handling
- understanding of menu items and dietary restrictions
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders in an efficient manner
- delivers food promptly and professionally
- maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- demonstrates thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences
- communicates directly with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are accurate
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and teamwork
- collects tickets and follows cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat guest environment
- maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and informs supervisor
- ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service
- operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers and beverage machines
- assists other departments during special events and functions
- performs other duties as assigned
