- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior customer service experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional requests
- demonstrate thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- address complaints or issues and relay them to the supervisor
- ensure dining room is set up properly before and after service periods
- operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
