Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in senior living or healthcare preferred
food handler’s license preferred
ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
excellent communication skills
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
reliable and punctual
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols
customer service-oriented
ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in senior living or healthcare preferred
possession of a food handler’s license preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
ability to maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
capability to handle cash transactions accurately
friendly and patient attitude
team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and assist with additional requests
demonstrate understanding of menu items, ingredients, and specialized diets
communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
collect tickets and handle cash according to procedures
maintain a clean and safe dining environment
address guest complaints promptly and professionally
set up and clean dining areas before and after service
operate foodservice equipment such as beverage machines and coffee makers
collaborate with other departments for special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
