Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years previous serving experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible part-time schedule including Monday evening and Tuesday morning
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must understand and comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle cash and follow proper cash-handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and mornings
- Customer service experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- Accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences, including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special request accommodation
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to supervisor
- Ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
- Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
