Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
ability to work part-time schedule including weekends
previous serving experience preferred but not required
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
basic math skills for handling transactions
willingness to adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
ability to maintain confidentiality
ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous serving experience is preferred but not required
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to understand and explain menu items
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to work flexible hours including weekends
customer service orientation and teamwork skills
willingness to learn and be trained on the job

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
advise guests on food and drink combinations and accommodate reasonable requests
communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special request accommodations
exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints or issues and relay to supervisor
ensure proper dining room setup before and after service
operate various dining equipment including beverage machines and fire extinguishers
collaborate with staff from other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
