- ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- US work authorization required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in fine dining or customer service roles preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to learn menu items and dietary restrictions
- capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to undergo training
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
- address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and meets sanitation standards
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events
- perform other duties as assigned
