This role of Waiter/Waitress is a part-time opportunity based at Friends Village in Woodstown, New Jersey. The position offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $15.92 per hour and requires availability Monday through Saturday from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with some flexibility in days worked. No prior experience is necessary, as Unidine is willing to provide comprehensive training to help new hires develop their skills. Job Requirements
- No previous experience necessary as training will be provided
- Availability to work part-time schedule Monday to Saturday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Sundays 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
- Flexibility to work varying days as needed

Job Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items, ingredients, and any specialized dietary requirements
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to the supervisor
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dining area before, during, and after service periods
- Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
