Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years prior service industry experience preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Must have reliable transportation to the Shula's 347 Grille location in Lake Mary, Florida
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work part-time with flexible schedule including varied days and hours
- Open availability preferred
- Ability to handle cash and follow cash-handling procedures
- Compliance with company policies including food safety and sanitation
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols such as wearing gloves and slip-resistant shoes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years prior service industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safety and sanitation standards
- Assist guests with menu information including special diets and allergens
- Communicate effectively with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy
- Handle cash transactions and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- Address guest complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
- Set up and clean dining room before and after service
- Operate restaurant equipment such as tea machines and coffee machines
- Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
