Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to work part-time seasonal hours from April to September
  • valid alcohol servers permit or ability to obtain
  • reliable transportation to Huntington Park location
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid alcohol servers permit
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
  • ability to remain patient and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • capability to operate food and beverage equipment

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the suite or premium space
  • takes food and beverages in an efficient manner
  • delivers food promptly and professionally
  • maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
  • advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
  • communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are correct
  • exhibits exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays information to supervisor
  • ensures suite or premium space is properly set up and clean
  • operates equipment including chafers, inductions, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • works with other departments during special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
