Unidine is currently hiring for the position of Waiter/Waitress at their Global Pointe location situated at 5200 W. Wayzata Blvd. in Minneapolis, MN. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, primarily working evenings and weekends. The position provides a competitive pay range of $15.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. As a Waiter/Waitress with Unidine, you will serve as a vital link between the culinary team and dining guests, creating memorable interactions that enhance the overall dining atmosphere. able to operate relevant dining room equipment
capable of handling cash according to procedures
high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate dietary preferences
communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a flexible, patient attitude when interacting with guests and staff
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
promptly address complaints or issues and report them to a supervisor
ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, and meets sanitation standards
operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
perform other duties as assigned
