Unidine is currently hiring for the position of Waiter/Waitress at their Global Pointe location situated at 5200 W. Wayzata Blvd. in Minneapolis, MN. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, primarily working evenings and weekends. The position provides a competitive pay range of $15.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills. As a Waiter/Waitress with Unidine, you will serve as a vital link between the culinary team and dining guests, creating memorable interactions that enhance the overall dining atmosphere. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate dietary preferences
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a flexible, patient attitude when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
  • promptly address complaints or issues and report them to a supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, and meets sanitation standards
  • operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
