Job Requirements
- Experience is preferred
- able to work full or part time including evenings and weekends
- able to follow steps of service efficiently
- able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- able to operate relevant dining room equipment
- capable of handling cash according to procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred

- basic understanding of dietary restrictions and allergens
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations and accommodate dietary preferences
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a flexible, patient attitude when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and report them to a supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, and meets sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
