Job Requirements

Must be able to work full-time or part-time
availability to work weekends and holidays
healthcare background is a plus
ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
willingness to work flexible schedules
legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
understanding of menu items and ingredient details
experience working in a fast-paced environment
strong customer service skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences
demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
exhibits exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others
remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintains confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly addresses complaints or issues and reports them to the supervisor
ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
operates various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
works with other departments during special events and functions
performs other duties as assigned
