At The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, located at 40 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, New Jersey, Morrison Living is seeking to fill part-time waiter and waitress positions. Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar wait staff or food service role preferred
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle cash accurately
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Takes food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and advises guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
  • Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests are accommodated
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and neat dining environment and addresses complaints or issues promptly
  • Operates various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • Works with other departments during special events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
