Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to take and deliver food and beverage orders efficiently
  • knowledge of menu items and special dietary needs

  • ability to interact professionally with guests and staff

  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • capacity to handle cash safely
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests appropriately
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote and maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
  • promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor
  • ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service period
  • operate a variety of equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
  • collaborate with other department staff during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
