Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- available to work part time hours including weekends
- able to stand and walk for extended periods
- capable of lifting and carrying food and beverages
- able to follow health and safety protocols
- willing to work varied shifts
- previous serving experience preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior serving experience preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to handle cash and operate basic equipment

- flexible and able to work varied schedules including weekends
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences, including specialized diets and allergens
- communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills, remaining flexible and patient with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues, relaying information to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods and meets sanitation standards
- operate various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- assist staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
