Job Requirements

No prior experience necessary
willingness to undergo training
availability to work specified full-time schedule including evenings and weekends
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to perform basic math for order and cash handling
must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
ability to maintain professionalism and patience under pressure

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
strong communication skills
ability to work well with others
basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles preferred
willingness to learn and follow training
customer service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining food handling and sanitation standards
follow up periodically to assist with additional needs or requests
demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodations
collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
promptly address complaints and relay information to the supervisor
ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
collaborate with other departments during special events
perform other duties as assigned
