Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and politely
- physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- knowledge of food safety practices
- ability to handle cash transactions

- basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established service steps
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink pairings
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up and clean before and after service
- operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work collaboratively with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
