Job Requirements

  • Must have prior relevant experience
  • availability to work part-time shifts including evenings, weekends, and weekdays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • must be able to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in waitstaff or food service
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong interpersonal skills and patience
  • capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
  • teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients including specialized diets and allergens
  • communicates directly with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated
  • collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
  • promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment
  • addresses guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • ensures dining room set up before and after service periods
  • operates equipment such as coffee machines and soda machines
  • works with staff from other departments for special events
  • performs other duties as assigned
