Job Requirements
- Previous serving experience preferred
- customer service experience required
- experience with point of sale (POS) systems preferred
- ability to work Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- reliable and punctual
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders in an efficient manner following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist guests with additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information or complaints to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- work with staff from other departments to perform duties during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
