Job Requirements

  • Prior serving experience is required
  • ability to work part-time schedule including weekends
  • capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • must be able to communicate clearly and politely with guests and staff
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • flexible availability to work different shifts
  • willingness to learn and adhere to company policies

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of food and beverage handling
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • basic math skills for cash handling

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean and safe environment
  • address guest complaints promptly and escalate when necessary
  • ensure dining area is properly set up and maintained throughout service periods
  • operate relevant equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
  • perform other duties as assigned
