Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- address complaints promptly and relay information to supervisors
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- cooperate with staff during special events and perform other duties as assigned
