Job Requirements
- Prior server experience is required
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to work full-time schedule with variable days and hours
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality regarding personal and medical information
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to attend in-person interviews
- Comply with company policies including drug-free workplace
- Pass background screening if required
Job Qualifications
- Prior server experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Understanding of specialized diets and allergens preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Patience and flexibility in guest interactions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Takes food and beverages orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- Delivers food promptly and professionally, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Demonstrates understanding of menu items and ingredients, advises guests on food and drink combinations
- Communicates with back-of-house staff to ensure order accuracy and accommodate special requests
- Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintains a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- Operates equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- Addresses complaints promptly and escalates to supervisor when necessary
- Ensures dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service
- Works with other departments during special events and functions
- Performs other duties as assigned
