Job Description

Jumeirah, a globally recognized leader in luxury hospitality and a prestigious member of Dubai Holding, operates a remarkable portfolio of 31 world-class properties spanning 13 countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Since its inception in 1999 with the iconic opening of the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, the brand has continually redefined Arabian luxury hospitality. Jumeirah's reputation is built on its ability to offer distinctive and purposeful experiences that cater to the world’s most discerning travelers. Renowned for its distinguished beachfront resorts, esteemed city hotels, and exclusive branded residences, the company has set a high standard in luxury hospitality, blending Arabian tradition with unparalleled service excellence to create memorable stays.

Situated in the heart of the Holy City, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is one of the company’s standout properties, offering a seamless blend of comfort, connectivity, and genuine Arabian hospitality. Located just minutes from Masjid Al Haram, this hotel complex is spread across four magnificent towers and features an array of first-class amenities including multiple dining venues, retail outlets, a fully equipped gym, an exclusive executive lounge, and well-appointed meeting spaces. Guests enjoy stunning views of the Grand Mosque and savor a diverse culinary journey that spans Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisines. The hotel strives to provide an unforgettable experience that meets the high expectations of its international guests.

Jumeirah is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter to join the Food & Beverage Department at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. This role represents an excellent opportunity for those passionate about enhancing guest experiences within a luxury hospitality environment. The waiter will play an integral role in delivering impeccable service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling guest inquiries courteously and efficiently, swiftly addressing any complaints by liaising with supervisors, and following up to guarantee guest satisfaction.

A key aspect of this position is upholding the highest standards of personal hygiene and grooming, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality and professionalism. The waiter will also be expected to guide guests through the menu, offering detailed explanations of various dishes, including ingredient descriptions and cooking methods. Additionally, the role involves preparing tables for service, which includes setting up linens, silverware, and glassware, and escorting guests to their seats to ensure a smooth start to their dining experience. The Jumeirah team values adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to multitask under pressure, making this role both challenging and rewarding.

Jumeirah offers a competitive salary paid in Saudi Riyals (SAR), alongside generous Food & Beverage benefits and the advantage of reduced hotel rates across its global properties. Employees can also look forward to excellent leave entitlements, comprehensive health care packages, and flights home. These benefits make the position highly attractive for individuals seeking a career with one of the hospitality industry’s most esteemed luxury brands, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development within an exemplary work environment.
