Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card is required
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
- A one year probationary period may be required
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2
- Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities
- Stands, walks, and stoops and stretches, usually for long period of time, handling food and beverage trays and good containers, seldom weighing more than 40 pounds
- Applicant must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend, walk and do moderate lifting for long periods of time
- Must be able to hear the conversational voice
- Ability to work an irregular work schedule which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and split-shifts
- Work primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation
- May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal functions
- Must meet to local age restriction (18 years old or older) for selling and serving alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications
- Must meet the state/local age requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages
- No prior training or work experience required
- Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions
Job Duties
- Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders
- This position is basically waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, cafe or bar operations
- Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages
