Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or hospitality roles
  • familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS Micros POS or similar
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in guest relations and customer service
  • familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS Micros POS or similar platforms
  • knowledge of food safety protocols sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures
  • excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • strong sales abilities with a focus on upselling menu items to maximize revenue opportunities
  • experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is advantageous but not required
  • ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
  • provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
  • serve food and drinks efficiently ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
  • check in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met address any concerns promptly and foster guest relations
  • clear tables bus tables and assist with food handling sanitation and general restaurant cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment
  • manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
  • support other team members as needed including hosting or bussing duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations
