Our establishment is a vibrant and popular dining venue known for delivering exceptional hospitality in a lively and energetic atmosphere. Our team plays live music every Friday night, adding to the inviting ambiance that keeps our guests coming back. Located conveniently, we operate Monday through Friday with hours from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays and extended hours until 10:00 pm on certain days, catering to a diverse crowd seeking great food and a welcoming atmosphere.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiter to join our vibrant team and become the face of outstanding hospitality at our restaurant. In this role, you will deliver excellent guest service by providing attentive and efficient food service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests with warmth, taking and relaying accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, serving food and beverages with proper presentation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. You will have the exciting opportunity to enhance guest satisfaction by offering knowledgeable recommendations and effectively upselling menu items. As a Waiter here, you will keep all tips and gratuities, with tips increasing as our guest volume grows. This paid position offers a wage ranging between 3.00 to 5.00 dollars per hour, along with benefits including employee discounts. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality roles
- familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS Micros POS or similar
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in guest relations and customer service
- familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS Micros POS or similar platforms
- knowledge of food safety protocols sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures
- excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- strong sales abilities with a focus on upselling menu items to maximize revenue opportunities
- experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is advantageous but not required
- ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
- provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- serve food and drinks efficiently ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- check in with guests regularly to ensure their needs are met address any concerns promptly and foster guest relations
- clear tables bus tables and assist with food handling sanitation and general restaurant cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment
- manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
- support other team members as needed including hosting or bussing duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations
