The role of Waiter at Aramark is a vital position responsible for supporting the manager in daily food and meal preparation, monitoring cash receipts, and accurately maintaining meal records. This position requires dedication to upholding food production standards, sanitation protocols, and kitchen safety procedures to ensure that customers receive high-quality meals in a safe and clean environment. The Waiter must follow predetermined menus to prepare excellent food and pastries and assist with preparing daily reports to verify the accuracy of transactions and meal planning.

Key duties include understanding meal components to confirm completeness, ensuring proper food storage to prevent contamination, serving meals according to scheduled times and establishment regulations, and maintaining culinary utensils, especially blades. The Waiter will ensure timely preparation of food items and beverages, enhance the aesthetic presentation of meals through garnishing, and help maintain hygienic conditions in refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices.

Food safety is a top priority within this role, as the Waiter must adhere to hygiene, handling, and storage protocols. Compliance with uniform policies is required at all times to maintain a professional appearance. The position also involves daily menu coordination with management, monitoring food temperatures to guarantee safe consumption, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas.

Additionally, the Waiter is responsible for general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and garbage collection to uphold a hygienic kitchen environment. Physical demands of this role include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary and following uniform guidelines are essential for safety and compliance.
