- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work under pressure
- physically capable of lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and standing or walking for long periods
- adherence to uniform policy
- willingness to wear personal protective equipment when necessary

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- understand meal components to ensure their inclusion
- store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and regulations
- apply and maintain culinary utensils with focus on blades
- ensure timely preparation of food items and beverages
- enhance meal presentation through garnishing
- assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, cooking and serving devices
- uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling and storage
- comply with established uniform policy
- coordinate daily menu with manager
- monitor food temperatures for storage and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- keep work areas clean and disinfected including steam tables, countertops and machinery
- carry out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping and dishwashing
- collect garbage and maintain clean kitchen floors
- fulfill additional duties as required including aiding different kitchen departments
