Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • put together a daily report ensuring accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • ensure all meal components are included
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • deliver food to patrons according to schedule and regulations
  • upkeep culinary utensils with focus on blades
  • prepare food items and beverages promptly
  • enhance meals visually through garnishing
  • assist with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and equipment
  • uphold all food safety and hygiene standards
  • comply with uniform policy
  • coordinate daily menu understanding with manager
  • monitor food temperatures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
  • keep work areas sanitized including steam tables, countertops, and machinery
  • perform general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • collect garbage and maintain kitchen floor cleanliness
  • perform additional duties as required
