Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
- Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- Apply and upkeep culinary utensils with a focus on blades
- Ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
- Elevate meal aesthetics through garnishing to enhance guest enjoyment
- Provide assistance with sanitation of refrigeration units freezers and cooking and serving devices
- Uphold all food safety requirements including hygiene handling procedures and storage protocols
- Comply with uniform regulations at all times
- Coordinate daily with the manager to understand and plan the day’s menu
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper storage and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping and dishwashing
- Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- Fulfill additional duties as required including aiding different kitchen departments
