Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Apply and upkeep culinary utensils with a focus on blades
  • Ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • Elevate meal aesthetics through garnishing to enhance guest enjoyment
  • Provide assistance with sanitation of refrigeration units freezers and cooking and serving devices

  • Coordinate daily with the manager to understand and plan the day’s menu
  • Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper storage and serving
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping and dishwashing
  • Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
  • Fulfill additional duties as required including aiding different kitchen departments
