- Food service certification
- Ability to work under pressure
- Follow uniform guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods

Job Duties
- Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
- Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
- Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
- Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
- Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
- Apply and upkeep culinary utensils, with a focus on blades
- Make sure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
- Elevate the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
- Provide help with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
- Uphold all food safety requirements including hygiene, handling, and storage
- Comply with uniform regulations
- Coordinate daily menu planning with the manager
- Monitor food temperatures for storage and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- Keep work areas clean and disinfected including steam tables and machinery
- Perform general cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Collect garbage and keep kitchen floors clean
- Fulfill other duties as required in different kitchen departments
