Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • food service certification required
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • compliance with uniform guidelines and PPE usage
  • willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • ability to follow established sanitation and safety protocols
  • valid work authorization

Job Duties

  • Follow predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
  • assemble accurate daily reports for transactions and meal planning
  • ensure inclusion of all meal components
  • store food properly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • serve meals according to schedule and regulations
  • maintain and apply culinary utensils focusing on blades
  • ensure timely preparation of food and beverages
  • enhance food presentation through garnishing
  • assist with sanitation of refrigeration, freezers, and kitchen devices
  • adhere to food safety standards including hygiene and storage protocols
  • comply with uniform policy
  • coordinate daily menu planning with manager
  • monitor food temperatures during storage and service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
  • perform general cleaning including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • collect garbage and maintain hygienic kitchen floors
  • perform additional tasks supporting other kitchen departments
