Job Requirements

  • food service certification
  • ability to work under pressure
  • understanding of food safety and storage protocols
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • compliance with uniform and PPE guidelines

Job Duties

  • Follow predetermined menu to prepare food and pastries
  • put together daily reports to ensure transaction and meal planning accuracy
  • ensure inclusion of all meal components
  • store food correctly to prevent contamination
  • deliver food to patrons as per schedule and regulations
  • maintain culinary utensils focusing on blades
  • prepare food items and beverages promptly
  • enhance food presentation through garnishing
  • assist in cleaning refrigeration units and kitchen devices
  • uphold food safety standards including hygiene and storage protocols
  • comply with uniform policy
  • coordinate daily with manager on menu planning
  • monitor food temperatures for safety
  • maintain work and storage area cleanliness
  • perform general cleaning including sweeping and dishwashing
  • collect garbage and maintain hygienic kitchen floors
  • perform additional duties as assigned including aiding other kitchen departments
