We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our front of house team as wait staff. This role is ideal for those who have a passion for customer service, enjoy fast-paced environments, and want to play an essential part in enhancing the dining experience of our patrons. As a member of the wait staff team, you will be responsible for educating guests about the menu, guiding them through their meal with helpful recommendations, and ensuring their time at the restaurant is enjoyable from start to finish. You will become an ambassador of Ramen Hakata’s culinary offerings, sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about our food and drink options. The ideal candidate is quick-thinking, adaptable, and capable of handling challenges with grace while working collaboratively with our dedicated team. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to handle money and transactions
  • good hygiene practices

Job Duties

  • assist guests with name, descriptions, origins, and ingredients of food and drink items
  • recommend menu items when appropriate
  • maintain high hospitality standards throughout shift
  • learn menu and continually educate self on specials
  • handle complaints with patience and grace
  • deliver checks and accept payments
  • adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards
  • complete opening and closing tasks
  • help run food when necessary
