Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
basic proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
positive attitude with eagerness to learn and collaborate with team members

Job Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred
familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling
prior host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous

Job Duties

Welcome guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about the menu items with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge
take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted clearly
serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages
manage guest needs throughout their visit by checking on tables regularly, bussing when necessary, and handling any concerns promptly
process payments accurately through POS systems, handle cash or credit card transactions with proper cash handling procedures
maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards like Food Safety regulations
assist in food preparation or kitchen support during busy hours if needed, demonstrating versatility within the food service environment
support guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times, ensuring each guest leaves satisfied and eager to return
