Job Duties

  • Follow a predetermined menu to prepare top-notch food and pastries
  • Put together a report for the day ensuring the accuracy of transactions and meal planning
  • Grasp the elements that make up a meal to confirm their inclusion
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination and spoilage
  • Deliver food to patrons as per scheduled meal times and establishment regulations
  • Apply and upkeep culinary utensils, focusing on blades
  • Ensure food items and beverages are prepared promptly
  • Elevate the visual appeal of meals through garnishing
  • Provide help with sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving devices
  • Uphold food safety standards including hygiene, handling procedures, and storage protocols
  • Comply with the established uniform regulations
  • Daily interaction with the manager for proper menu coordination
  • Ensure foods are stored and served at the correct temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas
  • Maintain hygiene by keeping work areas clean and disinfected
  • Implement cleanliness procedures like sweeping, mopping, dishwashing
  • Ensure garbage collection and cleanliness of kitchen floors
  • Fulfill other duties as required, including aiding different kitchen departments
