Unidine is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for full-time and part-time Waiter/Waitress positions at the Cornerstone Retirement Community located in Texarkana, TX. As a Waiter or Waitress with Unidine, team members will be integral to creating memorable dining experiences that not only satisfy nutritional needs but also foster social connections among residents. Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
  • deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
  • demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on food and drink combinations
  • accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
  • communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodation of special requests
  • exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain patience when interacting with guests and staff
  • collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
  • maintain high sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
  • ensure dining room setup before and after service periods
  • operate various equipment including fire extinguishers and beverage machines
  • collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
