Job Description

Aramark is a global leader in food services and facilities management, serving millions of customers daily across 15 different countries. With a commitment to service excellence and a purpose-driven approach, Aramark focuses on making a positive impact on its employees, business partners, communities, and the environment. The company fosters a supportive and inclusive workplace culture where individuals are encouraged to grow professionally, develop their talents, and pursue their passions. Whether you are seeking a new challenge, a collaborative community, or a meaningful career path, Aramark provides numerous opportunities for learning, development, and advancement to help you realize your full potential.

As a Waiter at Aramark, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily food service operations by assisting in food and meal preparation, monitoring cash receipts, and ensuring accurate maintenance of meal records. This position requires you to uphold high standards of food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety while actively participating in daily report generation to track transactions and meal planning. You will be responsible for delivering food to patrons following scheduled meal times and establishment regulations with professionalism and efficiency.

Your role will also include engagement in food preparation according to predetermined menus, ensuring that meals are visually appealing through garnishing, and adhering to proper food storage techniques to prevent contamination and spoilage. Maintaining culinary utensils, especially blades, and assisting with the sanitation of refrigeration units, freezers, and kitchen equipment is essential. You will collaborate closely with management to coordinate daily menus and consistently monitor food temperatures during storage and serving to guarantee food safety compliance.

Beyond food service duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization in work and storage areas is paramount. This includes sanitation of workstations, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and waste collection to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment. The position demands physical stamina as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for long periods. Compliance with uniform policies and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary are also key responsibilities.

Aramark values employees who can work efficiently under pressure, demonstrating reliability and adaptability in dynamic food service environments. This role is best suited for candidates with a food service certification and at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience or training that supports understanding, compliance, and communication of verbal and written instructions is highly beneficial.

At Aramark, we provide extensive training and development programs that empower our staff to thrive and advance their careers. Our offerings include leadership development, skills enhancement workshops, and access to online learning platforms designed to broaden expertise across various disciplines. In addition, we offer flexible and remote work options for select roles, internships, and student opportunities to foster growth and career exploration within the company.

Join Aramark as a Waiter and be part of a company that not only values exceptional service but also invests in your personal and professional growth within a vibrant and supportive environment.
