The Server position at Aramark offers an incredible opportunity to develop leadership and customer service skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role involves taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and contributing to a positive atmosphere by anticipating guest needs and delivering attentive service. In this role, you will maintain a well-informed knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings, ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld in food service areas, and adhere to alcohol service policies including age verification. The Server position demands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with guests, clients, coworkers, and managers. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and/or walk and stand for extended periods
  • Must comply with uniform and personal protective equipment policies
  • Ability to follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience in food service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server or in food service role preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
  • Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Serves food and beverage to guests according to guests orders and/or banquet menu
  • Maintains knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
  • Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
  • Replenishes food and beverage product
  • Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests' identification
  • Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs
  • Breaks down and cleans/sanitizes food service areas, workstations, and equipment
