Job Requirements
- Availability to work part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- prior food industry experience preferred
- prior experience with seniors is a plus
- hold or be willing to obtain Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification
- ability to stand and move throughout shifts
- willingness to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- be at least the minimum age required by local employment laws
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in the food industry
- experience working with seniors preferred
- Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to provide friendly and courteous service
- teens are welcome to apply where local regulations allow
Job Duties
- Set up the dining room routinely
- clear and clean dining areas efficiently
- reset the dining room after service
- take accurate menu orders
- serve meals promptly and graciously
- provide quality customer service to residents and guests
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the dining area
