Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or related hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to work open availability on weekdays and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Job Duties

  • Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations including menu review and side jobs
  • Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence
  • Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy
  • Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed
  • Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including those in the Employee Handbook
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and apply basic sanitation standards
  • Accurately plate and serve meals according to ticket orders with attention to dietary needs in a healthcare setting
