Job Description
HumanGood is a leading senior living company dedicated to reimagining aging and creating vibrant communities where older adults can thrive. With a focus on providing unparalleled care and enriching social environments, HumanGood operates a network of senior living communities that offer a range of lifestyle options from independent living to assisted living and memory care. The organization is driven by a strong sense of purpose to enhance the quality of life for seniors by delivering compassionate services and innovative programs that promote wellness, dignity, and independence. This company is recognized as a 5-star employer and is committed to supporting both residents and team members through comprehensive benefits and continuous opportunities for professional growth and development.
The Waitstaff/Server position at HumanGood is a Per Diem role, offering flexible shift hours typically from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, including weekends and variable days depending on scheduling needs. The pay rate for this position is $21.65 per hour. As a Waitstaff/Server, the primary responsibility is to provide excellent dining service to residents and guests in a senior living community. This entails routine setup, clearing, cleaning, and resetting of the dining room to maintain a pleasant and hygienic environment. You will take menu orders, serve meals in a timely and courteous manner, and ensure that all guests receive high-quality customer service. The role is well-suited for individuals looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while working in a supportive, purpose-driven organization.
This position values prior customer service and food service experience, preferably in settings involving seniors, although teens are welcome to apply subject to local regulations. Candidates with Food Handler's or ServSafe certification are preferred, but not mandatory. The role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the variable scheduling demands of the community. HumanGood’s comprehensive compensation package includes health, dental, and vision plans that begin the first of the month following the start date. Employees enjoy 20 days of paid time off that increases with years of service, seven company holidays, and a 401(k) plan with up to a 4% employer match without a vesting period. Additional perks include an HSA option with employer contribution, tuition reimbursement and continuing education programs, a $25 per line unlimited cell phone plan allowance, a cell phone stipend, and a 5-star employer-paid employee assistance program.
By joining HumanGood as a Waitstaff/Server, you become part of a team that not only prioritizes the well-being of its residents but also ensures its employees have the resources and support needed to build a secure life for themselves and their families. The company values career growth and personal development, offering real opportunities to gain leadership skills. Working at HumanGood means making a meaningful impact every day, helping residents achieve their full potential and fostering a community where everyone feels valued and empowered.
